Rebecca Pellman has had it with New Year’s diet resolutions:

“Here’s a crazy thought: what if I don’t want to shed those holiday pounds quite yet? What if I earned them after a good-but-sometimes-tough year, capped off by finding the perfect, softest, button-down blue plaid shirt for my boyfriend for Christmas, only to have him cruelly reject it? What if I already eat pretty healthy most of the time? What if I don’t have too many lbs to lose so I’m not sweating it?”
